Forming part of an old estate and located on the site of an old gunnery overlooking the Sir Francis Drake Channel, Brandywine Bay Restaurant, with its unassumingly elegant, flagstone dining room, has become a BVI institution.
The variable menu changes depending on fresh daily ingredients and choices range from home-made mozzarella, to Livorno-style stuffed rabbit, to calf's liver in crème de cassis, to Davide's signature roast duck.
A recent addition to Brandywine Bay Restaurant is the Cicchetti Lounge where guests can sample cicchetti (chi-KET-tee) - Venetian style tapas - such as bresaola & goat cheese, snail dumplings, and bacalao fritters.

The first wide ranging freedom a child will have is often experienced on a bicycle. Children will frequently face situations that are beyond their level of road safety understanding. Bicycle Safety Awareness For Everyone (B-SAFE) is a program that will develop a healthier lifestyle and influence the choices children face when venturing out on their own.
Nationally recognized cyclist Chris Ghiorse will be running the BSAFE program to help build awareness of the safety concerns on our roads in the BVI and prepare the children of the BVI for these life lessons.

The British Virgin Islands Olympic Committee (BVIOC) is a private, not-for-profit organization that brings together the Territory’s sport federations to form a common “team” to compete in both regional and international multi-sport games.
The BVIOC performs this function at not just the senior level but also at the youth level, with the recent introduction of the Commonwealth Youth Games and Youth Olympic Games. Since the organization’s founding in 1980, the BVIOC has been responsible for representing the Olympic Movement, and promoting its values, in the BVI.
The BVIOC is much more than a bureaucratic intermediary between the national sport federations and the major multi-sport games. The organization provides both intellectual and monetary support to its member federations, primarily through financial grants provided by international sporting associations (IOC, PASO, CGF, etc) and the BVI Government.
The BVIOC currently has 12 member federations and continues to be interested in acquiring new viable members.

For 330 years from about 1640 until July 31st, 1970, Great Britain's Royal Navy issued a daily rum ration to its sailors. This daily allotment was known as the 'tot', and its issue and the ritual that went with it was one of the longest running traditions in maritime history.
In 1979, Charles Tobias - entrepreneur, global sailor, raconteur - sought to resurrect the Pusser's Rum tradition. He obtained the rights and all the blending information from the Admiralty and began bottling and selling this storied spirit in 1980 to the public for the first time.
PUSSER'S NAVY RUM today is the same rum that was standard issue in the Royal Navy right up to the time of the rum issues termination on July 31st, 1970 ("Black Tot Day"). PUSSER'S was never sold or offered to the public, but was highly prized by connoisseurs for its rich flavour.
